These two videos were screened for the Oak Park High School student body on 12/13/2011. In the aftermath of the tragic deaths of 3 teens in the Conejo Valley, OPHS students created these videos for both educational purposes as well as a call to look out for each other’s well being. The 2nd video “Blades of Grass,” is about suicide awareness. The story is told by Zack Greenwald (OPHS class of 2005), and the background music is by his band “Givers & Takers”. I’m really concerned about my friend. He’s suffering from his heroin addiction and has already asked for my help. I’m glad that he has finally realized that he has a problem and that he’s asking for my help, however, I don’t know how I’m going to find drug rehabs. Help?

Answer by Jennifer i dont think so…the father only passed on genes…while the mother can pass on whatever toxins are in her system to the child. It’s either A) genetics or B) from your sister not doing what she was suppose to do while pregnant. Sorry i dont’ mean to accuse but that’s why doctor’s make such a huge deal about what a mother consumes while pregnant. The first 3 months are the most important months to a childs mental and physical development. If she didn’t find out that she was pregnant later in her first trimester and was drinking, smoking, eating unhealthy for those first few weeks that could affect the child’s developmental progress.
