Question by : What is this movie about a crystal meth addict?
My friend was telling me about a movie about a guy who is addicted to meth. It basically shows how it feels to be on meth, and then in the end there is an explosion and he dies or something.
I was just wondering in anyone knows what this movie is called?

They say the biggest miracles come from the most unexpected of places. I have been addicted to injecting meth for almost 5 years. Its destroyed everything in my life, given me cancer and AIDS and even though I got back on my feet for awhile, its doing it again. go into a rehab and DONT check yourself out like a lot of people do. if you really want to beat this addiction you have to act like you want to.

Do you mean Suboxone?
It is used to treat opioid dependency (heroin, oxycodone, morphine etc.)

Question by cadence c: I want to find drug rehabilitation centers in Cerritos, California. How do I do this?
I want to do this for my childhood friend. I never really thought that he would turn out to be a drug addict since he was always the one who was always the rule follower. Goody-two-shoes, we called him. And now he has somehow rebelled from that image and just went and did drugs. I feel bad about this and I want to help him by finding him a drug rehab. I wish I knew how, though.

There are lots of drug rehabs out there, and it should be pretty easy to find one. If you can’t take your friend to a doctor (the doctor will be able to assess his situation and recommend rehabs), then the links below should be able to help you. Good luck!

Not exactly. The pamphlet mixes facts with some pretty big assumptions. It implies that marijuana causes cancer by pointing out, correctly, that it contains chemicals that are carcinogenic. What they fail to say is that there is no link between marijuana smoking and lung, neck or head cancer, even among heavy long-term smokers (in the study heavy smokers smoked more than 22,000 times).

The article also makes some pretty stupid statements, like “Anyone who takes drugs does it to avoid problems or get rid of some pain or unwanted feelings, including boredom.”
Personally, I do a lot of things to avoid boredom- I watch TV, play basketball, smoke weed, or answer random questions on yahoo answers. I don’t see the big deal. Sure, people can take drugs to cover up deeper emotional issues, but that’s not always the case. Just like alcohol, if you use it responsibly marijuana is dangerous.

“Each time someone gets “high”, they don’t feel quite as high as they did before, and each time they feel a little worse afterwards.” The first part is true, you build up a tolerance to marijuana the more you use it. The second part is not, you do not feel worse after smoking. I dont know where they got that.

As for the part about burning up vitamins, I’m not sure. I have not heard that before but I assume it is related to the fact that marijuana increases your heart rate for a short time. Or maybe that is why you get the “munchies.” Either way I don’t think it is a serious problem or more people would know about it (given the fact that millions of people smoke it).
