does narconon work? what is the narconon success rate?
Question by Looking For Cats: does narconon work? what is the narconon success rate?
my daughter has been having problems with 12 step programs while i was looking for an alternative to alcoholics anonymous i was told about narconon. I was told that that program is a non 12 step program that really works, which is just what i need. has anyone else had any experience with it? is it a good program? THANKS for your input

And with all those options, the majority of people, 80%, quit on their
own.
Personally, I feel that all those groups are great for those who have
been through AA and have had it pounded into their heads that they NEED
a group in order to quit. That’s BS, but AA has been very successful in
getting people to believe that piece of misinformation.
Being around others for support can be a good thing, but ultimately, it
is up to the individual to use or not.
