As cocaine interferes with the way the brain processes chemicals, one needs more and more of the drug just to feel “normal.” People who become addicted to cocaine (as with most other drugs) lose interest in life. Seems to me like it is a no win situation within the AA doctrine. What is going on here and is it healthy to make such comments to people trying to abstain from alcohol and other drugs?
