Question by levin j: How can a drug rehabilitation program help my brother?
I love my brother so much that it tears me apart seeing him gradually devastated by his drug addiction. I know that only drug rehabilitation programs can help but I wonder how they can actually do this. You see, I’m very particular since he’s the only brother that I have. Do you have any idea about what they have in the programs?

Drug rehabilitation programs today are systematically equipped to address all of an addict’s issues, covering his emotional hangovers to spiritual revival. As such, all rooms for drug abuse will eventually be taken from his familiar system. Programs actually involve detoxification, counseling, behavioral therapies, medication, and group meetings. But of course, the treatment program that will be assigned to a particular patient is still dependent on the intensity of his addiction.
Now, I’m hoping for your brother’s recovery.

www.transformationstreatment.com Relapse is not a part of recovery but unfortunately it happens more time than we will like. Must must push to make our treatment more effective and decrease the relapse percentage. That is the goal in our Treatment Center. Relapse prevention skills is one of the important programs that Transformations Treatment Center offers its clients to ensure that they are ready to deal with life on the “outside.” Entering a drug addiction rehabilitation program is essential in overcoming a drug addiction. Drug Addiction and Post Drug Addiction are very similar stages, they are both tough and grueling. You need the right people around you to become and stay sober.
The Academy program, modeled after Delancey Street in San Francisco, is a 2-year rehabilitative program for ex-convicts, recovering addicts, and previously homeless individuals. During the 2-year minimum process, participants undergo rehabilitation from the inside out through details such as wearing a suit to dinner, continuing their education, and learning employable skills. Under the “Each one, Teach one” philosophy, participants hold each other accountable for their action, behavior, and even language. All of this results in a change for the better that’s permanent and applicable to a new, healthier, more productive life.
“No scientifically well-controlled independent, long-term outcome studies were found that directly and clearly establish the effectiveness of the Narconon program for the treatment of chemical dependency and the more credible evidence establishes Narconon’s program is not effective.” — The Oklahoma State Board of Mental Health All about Scientology and their totally independent Narconon “drug rehab” program run by Scientologists for Scientology. For more information about Narconon visit: www.narconon-exposed.org http www.whyweprotest.net Michigan Corrections Department psychologist John Hand called Narconon “so misleading as to be termed a ‘con.’” Hand said, “They are phony, a front for the ‘Church’ of Scientology. We found out in Michigan that most of the money that we were paying Narconon was laundered back into the ‘Church’ of Scientology.” In the wake of the revelations, a 1980 prison study concluded that “graduates of the Narconon program do not do as well as our [prison] population in general.” Funding for the Narconon program in the prison system was terminated.
