When Percocet and Vicodin are no longer produced in the US what will I be prescribed?

I have read that Percocet and Vicodin, because of their Acetaminophen content, are going to be taken off the shelves. A recommendation has been given to the FDA to lower maximum does of Tylenol and other Acetaminophen products (from 1000 mg to 650 at a time) and totally do away with the opiate combination painkillers.
