Easy Drug Rehabilitation

I know someone who just had a knee sugrury. And a bit after on his facebook status he wrote ” percocet, vicodin”

what do these drugs do to you?
i im-ed him yesterday and asked how he was, but he never responded

I had surgery for lung cancer on 3/1/06 and have become addicted to percocet prescribed for pain. I take 2 to 3 10mg tabs a day. If I go more than 6 hours or so without them I suffer from extreme anxiety and depression.

I’m not doing it. I’m just wondering.
I was hospitalized for 3 days and Doctor gave me a prescription for Percocet and told me not to take it together. Why?

I have read that Percocet and Vicodin, because of their Acetaminophen content, are going to be taken off the shelves. A recommendation has been given to the FDA to lower maximum does of Tylenol and other Acetaminophen products (from 1000 mg to 650 at a time) and totally do away with the opiate combination painkillers.

How often do you have to take percocet to feel withdrawl when you stop?

I have been prescribed percocet for many surgeries/conditions in my life, and the pills always say 512. This time I got ones that say 104. The 104′s don’t seem to work as well. I tried searching the internet for an answer but to no avail. Thanks!

I got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday, and was prescribed generic Percocet for the pain. However, I would like to be able to drink wine with Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. Under NO circumstances are you supposed to mix alcohol with this drug.

Most of my pain has already subsided, so if I stop taking my Percocet tonight, would I be able to drink wine tomorrow afternoon without any risk?

Both have been perscribed. The Percocet was for right after a surgery I had. The Darvocet is suppose to hold me over until I see the doctor again. Is there a big difference between the two?

I am allergic to Darvocet but have no reaction to Vicodin, which looks to be in the same group. I am wondering if I may be allergic to Percocet, since I’m allergic to Darvocet.

My Doctor had me on percocet for almost a year due to my health reasons and recently changed me to lortab 500 mg. Are these the same in taking the pain away? the percocet did;nt seem to help the pain. I was on one tablet 4 times a day as needed prn.
