So Stay In Good Health

November 26, 2011 - 12:59 am 25 Comments

This delightful video combines animation, music, and live action to encourage students to stay away from alcohol and other drugs in order to achieve their full potential. The program begins with an animation artist searching for his cartoon character “LC Living” whose name stands for Loves Clean Living. When the artist finds LC, the video switches to colorful animation, accompanied by a rhythmic rap tune — as LC rescues people from the dangers of alcohol and other drugs. Highlights include an encounter with a crack monster, and LC singing the song, “Don’t Get Into Drugs.”

www.chooselifeorchoosemeth.com We have over a dozen Thirty Second public service announcements that are thematically presented to promote substance abuse prevention. Each PSA contains a response component that identifies your organization and can direct viewers to a phone number or web site of your choosing.

This is a PSA I had to do in school for Red Ribbon Week. I had almost complete freedom in making it, and I’m pretty proud of the end result. Check out more stuff at davalosfilm.blogspot.com

I am looking for health insurance that covers mental health and drug treatment. Any specific suggestions?

August 21, 2010 - 6:59 pm Comments Off

Question by need-drug-treatment: I am looking for health insurance that covers mental health and drug treatment. Any specific suggestions?
Can anyone recommend an insurance plan that they’ve used to obtain quality drug treatment? I am really trying to get in to one of the Narconon facilities but any drug treatment that covers the full spectrum (not just the drug use, but the emotional or other reasons that cause addicts) would work. Anything we can make financial arrangements for. Everything we can find is free and hasn’t worked or ,000+ and we can’t afford even with loans etc. So any resources regarding insurance would be very helpful. Thanks
