HOW DO I TELL THIS PERSON THAT I WILL TELL THE PEOPLE I WANT TO KNOW I WILL TELL THEM NOT HIM. BY THE WAY HE HAS MANY YEARS CLEAN AND SOBER SO HIS PROGRAM SHOULD HAVE TOLD HIM THIS IS NOT RIGHT. I NEED HELP RIGHT AWAY IM ANGRY AND RESENTFUL AND WILL BE SEEING THEM SOON. PLEASSSE NO JOKE ANSWERS I AM TRYINF TO STAY CLEAN AND THIS ANGER IS GETTING IN THE WAY OF MY THINKING

You need to speak to him straight away. Speak to your sponsor or someone else in NA about it to go over how you will approach it. Anonymity is important for some people but remember you have no control over people places and things.

a friend of mine has started lying to me a lot- he told me that he couldn’t pick me up from the airport becasue he had small pox.. i asked q&a users about the disease and apparently it’s been gone since the 70s. he just text messaged me and asked for 2,000.00 for a dr visit. my neighbor says it sounds like a meth addiction.

my neigbors brother was addicted for 4 years, i told him other stuff – like he lost 60 pounds in 2 months, how he calls me at 3 am, and sometimes he ( my friend ) is really moody- he is in a good mood then he yells at me for nothing.

I have a good friend who lives in the Chicago area. I moved away from there 2 years ago partly to get away from stuff like crack, meth, etc. I must admit that I smoked crack with him quite a few times but I stopped doing it for the obvious reasons. He had quit several times before but always went back to it. The last time he quit I thought he quit for good. He lied to me about it. He called me last night extremely depressed, almost suicidal. I think he must have been on a binge and was coming down from it. He admits he needs help and I would like to help him but I live 200 miles away from him. What can I do?

If a person is drunk and exhibits a common behaviour that is found in many people under the influence of alcohol, then is “dry” for a period of time and experiences normal human mood fluxuations, why does Alcoholics Anonymous say he is on a “dry drunk”? Seems to me like it is a no win situation within the AA doctrine. What is going on here and is it healthy to make such comments to people trying to abstain from alcohol and other drugs?
