I heard in the news of a celebrity who was spotted smoking it, and am curious if it’s something that can be done recreationally or will they suffer long term and if so how. Thanks.

A friend’s husband started smoking and she is very concerned. He has a lot of responsibilities which he is so far able to attend to but what happens if he continues? Is he really not hooked as he claims – is that possible? He says he only smokes to take the edge off and not to worry. What do you think?

..better known as adderall. It seems to me that they may be very similiar, in cases where the adderall was actually illegally obtained and abused.

The difference is in dosage and strength. Adderall is administered in pills measured in ‘milligrams’. Methampehtamine is substantially stronger, and generally dosed in hundreds of milligrams to grams at a time. They are essentially identical drugs, differing in potency, with the same withdrawal effects. The difference is that because Adderall is less potent (contains ‘amphetamine’ not ‘methamphetamine’) getting off it tends to be somewhat easier.

I have a friend now who is in the process of getting all his teeth pulled because of meth use.
Another side effect? Death.
