The government may bring in legislation so that jobcentre plus can identify problem drug users by getting data from criminal justice agencies. The data would include details of people who have left prison, and people who have been given a drug rehabilitation requirement by the courts. jobcentre plus would safeguard the shared information and only use it in connection with benefits and the new support programme. Health assessment. if the government (jobcentre plus) thinks you could be a problem drug user, you will be referred for a health assessment with a healthcare professional. The healthcare professional will decide weather you have a heroin or crack cocaine problem, and whether you should go on the new programme for problem drug users. Treatment Allowance. while you are on the support programme, you will receive a treatment Allowance instead of esa or jsa.
