I need to find alcohol rehabilitation centers for my dad. He’s in Clementon, which is so far away from where I am. I have only just gotten wind of the news that he’s now suffering from alcoholism. I don’t know what to do. He’s asking for my help and the only thing I could think of is that he has to get himself treated. I don’t know how to find alcohol rehabs, though.

Just keep on getting in touch with him. Talk to him on the phone or send him encouraging messages. This might just be little things, but your moral support will help him get by. It’s a good thing that you didn’t just break up with him. Your support and encouragement will really make a difference. You can take him to a doctor. At least then the doctor will be able to properly check up on him and assess his situation. The doctor will also give you recommendations regarding rehabs. I do hope that your boyfriend gets treated soon. It must be hard being in a relationship with someone who’s alcoholic. Just hang on, though. You can get through this.
