Yeah, for sure this is just about as addictive as they come. Lots of people become drug addicts from prescriptions and never know it’s happening until it’s too late.

I agree that this is a very addictive drug. Seems like it is made that way so people get hooked on it. Easy way to make a drug addict and sell more of it. A lot of people that enter drug rehab have been on this drug.

Oxycontin is a terribly addictive drug, and one of the hardest for people to kick. Good for Narconon putting this data out there.

This drug is addictive so quickly that it’s frightening. People get put onto it by a doctor, and just don’t know how fast they can get hooked. And kids get their hands on it in schools these day and don’t realize they may just end up needing drug rehab to get off it and the other drugs it can lead to.

I know from personal experience the dangers of oxycontin and drug abuse. When I was injured several years ago I was given this drug in the hospital. Two weeks later, when I was discharged, I simply stopped taking it. Within hours I discovered that I couldn’t do that: the symptoms were terrible, and I knew then I had developed a drug addiction simply by taking what was given me in the hospital. The director of Narconon Georgia coached me through withdraw, and I am very grateful for he help.

My oxycontin abuse eventually led to heroin addiction.
