There are of course, bad men and women everywhere in every race, status, etc. However, much like the race card-some middle and upper class women play the gender card. They sometimes (as vengeance) will fabricate scenarios that they are abused for divorce custody reasons, etc. and the cops and courts believe them over the husbands, boyfriends. Men sometimes are verbally, emotionally and even physically or in rare cases sexually abused by women but too embarassed to come forward still. not equal

Dollar for Dollar drug treatment works a LOT better than Prison. It also salvages a person’s life and allows them to function with family, job, school and recovering addicts actually work and pay taxes!! Addicts are NOT criminals!
Addicts DO however commit crimes to get their drugs, and for criminal acts they should be punished to the max. Personal accountability for actions make people take ownership of their addictions.
