Question by heart,anabella: Should I call the cops if someone is smoking crack?
I was walking home and these guys were smoking crack or something illegal for sure while they were driving. So next time I see someone driving and smoking illegal stuff should I call the cops?
What can they do if they aren’t near? Can’t the guy get away? Its not like they have a tracking device on him or anything.

You could call and report their license plate number, that’s all you can really do. I would. Who wants that crap going on where they live? Not me.

You could get the license plate and a description of the car. Better to get those guys off the roads then to find out later they caused an accident and possibly killed someone.

Call the police and give them the license plate number of the car. That’s how they can track them down. You definitely should call the cops if someone is smoking crack while driving, because they’re not only endangering their own lives, they’re also endangering the lives of innocent people.

Writing down their license plate number or remembering what the car looks like would probably help the police. If it’s too fast, maybe take a picture.

Crack or Something illegal? Well that could be a lot of things… and wow judging from others peoples responses… get the license plate number. Wow… I guess if one was to do it….. it should be more nonchalant.

One time I was at CVS with my little cousins, and we parked right next to this car with tinted windows. I smelled something that I knew was weed, and I noticed 5 people in the car, one of them had a baby in their lap, there was no carseat! So I went inside CVS with my cousins, and I called the police. I am one to mind my business, so if there had not been a baby in the car, I wouldn’t have bothered. But the fact that a BABY was in such an intoxicated location just made me sick – so I had to make the call. 5 cars came immediately, along with another car. They all searched the people, and the woman in the other car took the baby. It was crazy.
Tip: if you’re going to call the police, make sure you have the make/model of the car, and the license plate number, and they can track him/her down.
