For those of you who answered who don't live in Indiana (or the midwest) - I don't think you can actually grasp how bad the meth problem is here. I would check out that meth help line. I would also be going through every resource I possibly could to find a place that would accept him on a sliding scale or income based facility. I'm not sure what part of Indiana you are in. I am in Terre Haute. There is a retired cop who turned minister/ author named Jeff Lee in Blackhawk, IN. He has written a couple of books and is a very powerful speaker about the death that is meth. You whole question is so powerful and you really should be commended. Again, I would start by calling every single resource I could. The first thng to do is to give him ALL his problem. What I mean is that if you are supporting him in any way STOP if he refuses treatment. NA is good, however, residential would be a better 1st step for him if he is willing. The only thing you can do is hold your boundary on what you are willing to accept and support. My brother is in the same boat and he checked this place out. It worked for him, and they also can give you great advice and guidance.
