ploy part II – Anti Drug PSA

Okay… i know people who smoke like weed an shit allways make fun of these little videos so as to justify their bad habbit… Actually most of the Communist Parties who came to power in the world, originaly financed the weapons for their little “revolutions” with drug money. This is a fact… ya can make fun of it… but ya can’t hide it. And there’s gonna come a day when all of us will have to take responsibility for our bad actions. That’s why i like those little videos, cause they point that out so nicely (-:

    damn ripped

The second example could be littering unless you do so in a way that leaves no mess (for example, killing yourself in a dumpster). The third example is assault or Reckless Endangerment (unbesonnen Gefährdung) since the fumes are harmful.

In all of your examples, the location is publicly owned. Residents of a given locale might see fit to impose restrictions on such activities or they might not. If any of these actions take place on private property, the agent should do so with the consent of the owner.
Public is extremely vague, so I would say that the first example might be Disturbing the Peace (Ruhestörung).

so having sex in public should be allowed too? It certainly doesn’t harm anyone, does it? What about commiting sucide in public, should the police stand idle by and let you do it? It doesn’t harm anyone else, does it? Producing Meth in public schools, should that be allowed as well?

  6. eatenmyeyes Says:

Your argument is fallacious. Most laws merely codify consequences for interpersonal actions that are widely known to be harmful to others (assault, theft, fraud, etc). Drug use is a strictly personal action that does not harm anyone but the agent.

a lot of guys responded to me an basicly said “yeah but if we’d legalize it, we wouldn’t have that problem no more”.

That’s like sayin “why don’t we eliminate organized crime, by eliminatin laws”. I mean anybody who doesn’t get why this argument doesn’t make a lot of sense, propably has been smockin so much weed that it messed up his brain (-:
