80′s Commercials Vol. 11
A bunch of commercials that aired on local ABC affiliate KGO on October 29th, 1989. Commercials for: 1. Nabisco Shredded Wheat (After this and the commercial in Vol. 1, I’m convinced the Nabisco ad people were on acid throughout the 80′s) 2. Wendy’s (With Dave Thomas! RIP Big Guy!) 3. Promo for “Who’s The Boss” (:In Tony Danza voice: “Angela!”) and “The Wonder Years” (Kind of a strange joke to use for a commercial) 4. Wrigley’s Gum (Share a little piece of America!) 5. Subaru Legacy (Love the cartoon sound effects) 6. Anti-Drug PSA (I love the veiled suggestion that marijuana causes permanent brain damage) 7. Promo for “The Real Ghostbusters Halloween Special” (It’s gonna be fun, fun FUN!) 8. Promo for “Doogie Howser MD” and “Anything But Love” (Richard Lewis had a sitcom? With Jamie Lee Curtis?) 9. Bounty Candy Bar (The dark chocolate commercial gets an African-American model, naturally) 10. Luvs Diapers 11. Little Lost and Founds (Who the hell wants an orphaned stuffed animal that cries constantly? Is this the start of the Emo fad?) 12. Toys “R” Us (Awesome!) 13. Promo for “The Final Days” (Nixon TV movie FTW!) 14. Toys “R” Us (Is it my imagination or are a few of the kids here British or Semi-Canadian?) 15. Downy Fabric Softener 16. Hasbro Toys/Downy “Night Before Christmas” sweepstakes 17. “Bambi” on Videocassette (With $3 back with the purchase of Crest Toothpaste!) 18. Matchbox Superfast (Which will win, Slicks or Knobbies?!?) 19. Promo for “Full House” and “Family …

Drug addiction in Pakistan
www.instablogs.com freebird.instablogs.com Drug addiction in Pakistan There is hardy any place in the city where drugs are not available to the general public including the educational institutions where young people come to study ant at the hostels where they live. The poor drug addicts mostly live in the open and along the roadsides or sleep inside enclosures along the roads sand streets. There are few rehabilitation centers that may admit these drug addicts and so these people keep suffering on account of poverty, addiction and disease. Sometimes the government orders the police to remove them from roadsides and public places but that just removes the problem to other places. For poor drug addicts in Pakistan life is just another name of darkness and suffering.
