Just4Teens: Lets Talk about Meth and Other Drugs

February 19, 2010 - 3:06 pm 16 Comments

just4teens is an innovative drug education DVD featuring the voices of young people, adults in recovery and prevention specialists. Rejecting the “Just Say No!” and fear-based messages so often used in schools and prevention programs, just4teens focuses on honest, open and respectful discussion with teens about their experiences and the realities of drugs and drug use today. The accompanying Facilitator’s Guide provides thought-provoking questions and exercises to enhance group discussion, and offers related activities and resources that can be the basis for an entire unit of study on dealing with alcohol and other drugs.

most of the shit that the schols and govt tell you about weed and most drugs is bullshit everyone and i mean EVERYONE knows that marijuana is the least dangerous drug known to man the government gives us alcohol and tobacco which kills ppl every year but cant give us weed tnow that makes no sense whatsoever

  12. JediKnightBurt Says:

All drugs should be legal and people who fuckup on them should be held accountable for their actions. But it’s my right to do whatever I want to do with my body and it think most people are smart enough to not do hard drugs. As long as people arent hurting other people we should back off and stop trying to push our values/morals/beliefs or anything else thats none of our concern on them. Just say yes to marijuana. In conclusion fuck hard drugs and stop trying to control people.

The trick is to make drugs boring. Prohibition makes them fascinating. Reaganism and the meaness that went with is fading. Hopefully we can come to our senses about drugs

  15. bamboo4tameshigiri Says:

The truth needs to be told somewhere. The stuff the US govt. and scientology manufacture to cram down our kids throats in school (DARE, etc.) is bullshit. The cults and government run from scientific studies and teach revisionist history.

They need exposure. Growing up in NYC I was exposed to crack and heroin addicts. THAT SHIT AINT PRETTY. There was this 4th grade teacher with the raspiest voice on earth that smoked tobacco. Throw in all the cancer and deaths Tobacco, NO THANKS. I could smell someone who drank beer. I’ve seen how people act when they drink too much. And, that smell just oozes from the pores. Besides that I hate how my temperature rises from alcohol. No thanks.

I just stick to marijuana, thank you very much.
