I have high functning autism and was adopted. Aparently my biological mother hung out in a bar all the time and even met my biological father in there. I have to wonder if I could have had FAS as well. I was never said to have it because they took her word that she didn’t drink in the bar. I had horrible mood swings and lots of behavior problems so I wonder if my problems were really autism or FAS. I’m an adult now so I guess it dosen’t matter, but I am still curious.

a friend of mine meets a lot of the criteria concerning FAS, but he does really well in school (he’s at a university now) although what he’s studying doesn’t require much abstract thinking or anything along those lines. my question is this: can someone with FAS make A’s in college level courses?? excuse me if that’s a dumb question, i just don’t much about the syndrome.

You don’t have FAS because of your adoptive parents, you should feel lucky that anyone gave you a chance, because of their sacrifice you have had a better life that you would have otherwise been able to have.

i have FAS and other disorders because of my adopted mom because of her my twin brother has autism our lives are changed forever because she smoked drinked and used cocaine. how dare she endanger my brothers or mines life and she put us up for adoption. because of what she did, i feel like nobody likes me because my biological parents mustve hated me considering wat they did to me and my brother i hate them they probably had another child and left me and my brother behind.

Well, Tylenol and Advil can kill too but I don’t see anyone blaming the gov and corporation for letting us have those.
When you’re an adult, you should be smart enough to discern what’s good and bad for your health and the health of your children. If you choose to disregard that knowledge and drink while pregnant, the consequences are your fault, not the government, and not the corporation. We’re free to make our own choices, don’t blame the “higher ups” for your own stupidity.

I have Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.I am adopted. And my parents don’t know what level I am at. And my birth mom doesn’t even know how much alcohol she drank and she also smoked serveral cigarets a day when I was in her tummy. Mothers should stop drinking alcohol and smoking when they are preganant. We all want these children to have a good life.

The user, gmcandrew116, posted a messge expressing a desire to sexually abuse a 10-year-old boy. Go to the YouTube video “HOME ALONE (1990) PART 2″. Expand the comments and then search the page for “gmcandrew116″ (without the quotes).
This same user – a 51-year-old man – also posted two messages expressing the desire to see a certain little girl (a Youtube user) killed, and graphically described how he wished this to be done. PM me for the links.

I was heavily involved in a child abuse / neglect case this past year. I begged and volunteered everything to the CSA to protect this innocent 9 month old who was abused at the hands of drug addicted parents. I ended up moving, unable to “protect” this child any further,Three weeks after we moved out. The baby was found dead. We reached out, begged, CSA, Police…….DO something ! ! Nothing has been done.

I have written a song on child abuse with video I would’nt mind if you all watched it! and let me know what you think of it on my channel. Its just my way of writing about the horrendous things that are happening today! and watching Steve Wilcos chat shows on youtube found alot of kids and adults being abused, and gave me some inspiration to finish it off.
