How come you never really hear about drunk driving accidents in which the drunk driver dies and the victims?

    because too be honest there are too many the papers would just be covered with it

    Drunks tend be loose and floppy in accidents which actually prevent a lot of injuries. Sober people tend to tense up which can make them worse. In general.

    I think the media probably focus more on the “tragic” ones because it pulls more readers in. People are kinda sick that way.

    I’m guessing one reason is because that wouldn’t incite people nearly as much as hearing about the innocent dying. Media reports what sells.
