    At home.
I spent far too many New Years Eve’s dragging people out of car wrecks to consider this day as much of a celebration.
It’s one of the reasons I am in the shape I am now. So not like I have a lot to celebrate eh?
    sigh

  18. Carpe DM™ Says:

We (friends and family) may go out to have dinner… but I like to be indoors fairly early. By 10:00pm or so I’ll be indoors either at my home or a friend’s or family member’s house.

  19. vicentev22 Says:

sometimes you cant even be safe at home like 2 months ago a drunk driver came and crashed into my house

Celebrating at home this year with football games and German beer! Did the bar scene last year, so it’s good to switch it up, ya know? Plus its kinda hard to get a DUI at home, I know, I’ve tried. Cheers!

Normally I would… but this is my first “real” New Year’s party ever…

I’m getting to the place and staying put though. Don’t want my first party to be my last!

  25. ♥christee Says:

I have found an alternate to avoid the drunken wackos (because like Benn I had a similar job and saw far too much bad stuff as well …)

So we are going to a huge party at one of the big casinos out here and we got rooms! Then we can still go out, be drunken wackos, and stay safe! Woo hoo!

(It helps to have friends who have moms that work at said casino … and got us all in for free! tee hee!)

Look out midnight .. I am ready to drink away this old crappy year and welcome in the best year of my life … because that is MY resolution … to make sure that happens!

Thanks for your friendship sweet gurl! Have a blast tonight wherever you are! ♥ you!!

  27. Angus Beefhart 2 Says:

Only a fool ventures out on amateur drunks night.

  28. ♥~Angel Eyes is heartbroken~♥ Says:

Yep I will be at home..I don’t trust them either..plus when I am ready to pass out I can do it in my bed and not in a nasty bathroom at a bar..

  29. Don't Peak Says:

At home and hide the car behind a tree

  30. Wandering Says:

I plan on being sound asleep by 9pm

    <—- old fuddy duddy

  31. ~girlfriday~ Says:

We are boring, so we stay home. Easier to crawl into my own bed that way.

  32. makeloans2 Says:

We never go out on NYE. Too many drunks on the roads, plus we have a better time partying at home where we can drink all we want.

  33. Big Bad John Says:

I’m going to celebrate at home, sober!

  34. Maui Guy Says:

What…and miss all the fun out on the street looking like a race car track set up under a Christmas tree where you “full-throttle” it without slowing down for the turns..causing the car to careen off the curves landing in the middle of your spicy crab dip? HA! Not a chance.

Second thought….that sounds too fun to miss, too! From one drunken wacko to another….Happy New Rear….!!!

  35. ktray1275 Says:

Ill get to picke someof them up till 11 then I get to doge them on my way home

  36. JustinB The mendicant of Arc Says:

So,,uh,, should I come over now or later?

  37. M M Says:

Yes! I’m getting caught up online with a variety of things! No one invited me over for New Years Eve or Christmas (only one for Christmas), so I have no where to go anyhow and I’m not going to a bar a waste the little bit of money I have. Things are VERY tight right now for me as I’m not working and looking for a job here that I’ll get is like looking for a needle in a haystack; seriously! You’ve got no less than 10 to 25 people showing up for one job today!

  38. johjoh Says:

yes that is a reason to stay at home also weather conditions are pretty bad here icy roads and fog and tons of fireworks (I live in the Netherlands, this year 70-80.000.000 euro on fireworks)
