What sort of illegal drugs could be found in professional establishments?

By this I mean, what sort of drugs which are illegal at street level, could be found in professional establishments such as a pharmacy or a clinic?
This is because of some research I am trying to do about drugs for my Personal Social Development class.
Also can I have specific examples, with the drug name, and the sort of establishment it would be found in.

Any prescribed drug that is not prescribed for you is “illegal at street level”, so pharmacies are chock full of those. Controlled substances are kept locked away so they are harder to get hold of, and records are maintained to track where they go.
Clinics tend not to have much in the way of drugs that would be used to get high, but from what I’ve seen on this forum, people will try just about anything. Clinics tend to have samples brought in by drug companies, and they are not allowed to give controlled substances out. If anything, they have coupons for those drugs.
Surgery centers have controlled substances (midazolam, fentanyl, morphine, meperidine, Percocet) but those are kept in double locked cabinets and have to be signed out by those who need to administer them.

I would say everything you could think of can be found in some form in a pharmacy, hospital and/or clinic. Aside from THC (marijuana), which is a legal medical treatment, found in the same form as “street level.” For example, codeine, which is in Tylenol 3s as well as many other medications, is a mild form of cocaine. Adderall, which is an ADHD medication, is almost the same as speed. Wikipedia has a small list of forms of methampetamines and their uses. Heroin is a form of morphine. Morphine is also the active agent in opium and many other forms of opiates are derived from morphine. The only one I can think of that might be a little controversial or hard to find would be mushrooms. Although, they have been used to treat OCD and migraines among other things.
Good luck with your project!

Ketamine -used in hospitals as a local anesthetic often for children or those who might not need or be able to cope with other forms of anesthesia. Also, used by vets to calm or restrain small animals.
Most opiates synthetic or naturall -morphine, methadone, diamorphine (heroin), codiene, cocodamol, tramadol, syndol etc. The full list can be found online easily enough. They are used in hospitals, kept in pharmacies, some like syndol or cocodamol can be bought over the counter in England. Again, vets often have a store of opiate based drugs too.
Tranquilisers, barbituates, but most benzodiazapines – most commonly known are diazepam (valium) and temazepam. Again, a list of all drugs in this catagory can be easily found online. Most benzos find their ways onto the street if they’re used in hospitals etc. They are used in Hospitals Ritalint in pharmacies.
Certain amphetimine based drugs – Most commonly known, if not used on the street being ritilin.’Used in hospitals and kept in pharamcies. You’d have to google it for more info on that one though. I don’t have much experience of phet based drugs that are both used in a medical capacity and a recreational one.
Various drugs, some on this list, are also used in Rehab centres, Elderly homes and prisons etc.
Anyway, they’re the most common groups used both legally and illegally. Hope that helps.
