My roommate has a history of using drugs and lately I think she’s back on something because she’s been losing so much weight and I know it’s not an eating disorder or anything. What illegal drugs cause you to lose weight in a short period of time?

meth, cocaine, but if you believe she is you should confront her, or let somebody know. that’s not safe for you to be around or for her them to be doing it.

Heroin ~ leads to a lack of appetite and results in severe weight loss and symptoms of nutritional deficiency.

Ketamine ~ Weight loss is a unusual side affect

Coke ~ Chronic use can also cause weight loss

Ecstasy ~ It was originally intended as a weight-loss (anorectic) drug, but because of its side-effects MDMA was never marketed.

Speed ~ Leads to lack of appetite
