The demand is higher than the supply,
Americans just LOVE illegal drugs.

Illegal? None, darling. Cannabis may have a chance, if it turns out to be useful.

The majority of people I know these days that partake in the enjoyment of illegal drugs seem to want pot and shrooms legalized.

Well, put it it this way- I wouldn’t blow my ass up to have them legalized just to make a point-ya know? As such, somehow, call me crazy, but it doesn’t seem such a bad idea to decriminalize certain, more manageable ‘addictions’ if you want to call them that- usually the purview of a relatively small minority lest they become fashionably institutionalized at parties, etc. They seem to victimize truly dis functional families for the most part-those who lack basic values that a parent aught to display and be cautionary of- one could say the same of run-aways-whoring to get by once they have escaped an intolerant homelife, etc. Bad behavior cannot always be legislated.

We, the undersigned, believe that the continued War on Drugs, waged by the United States of America, has long outlived its usefulness.

We further believe that the War on Drugs has historically caused more harm to American citizens and has only served to multiply the problems caused by drug use. We disagree with the use of our tax dollars to continue fighting a war that cannot be won–especially a war that is being waged against our fellow citizens by our own government.

We believe that by ending the War on Drugs and instead implementing government regulations and through the decriminalization of certain drugs that honest citizens can reclaim their neighborhoods that have been torn apart by drug use, and that we can end the overpopulation of our jails and prisons. We believe that through the governmentally-regulated, private sale of certain drugs that we can easier protect our children from the dangers and usage of those drugs by taking them off the streets where they can get them practically any time.

We, the undersigned, do not condone the use of drugs. However, we are fully aware of their availability. We believe the War on Drugs to be counter-productive to our efforts to teach our children the dangers of drugs and converse to the very freedoms we hold dear as Americans.

    Sincerely,

    The Undersigned

The only drug I could imagine ever being made legal in the US is marijuana because its the only one whose negative effects are not very significant. It is illegal more because of a stigma rather than actual danger. Cocaine and methamphetamines are too high risk to ever be legal. I am actually surprised that Saliva is illegal some places. This too is more based on ignorance. I have never heard of anyone smoking salvia then driving a car and killing someone or causing parents to be abusive. In my opinion alcohol is more dangerous than salvia could ever be.

    Marijuana.

Red red wine and moonshine whiskey. Eat taters and stay drunk. That is how we survive hard times. Just eat and drink and stay alive if you can. If you save up anything, the politicians and banksters will find a way to strip you clean, sooner or later.

If adult citizens want to bend their brains for recreational purposes, I don’t see why the government should have word one to say about it.

    Legalize them all.

  9. Crushed By Eyeliner Says:

I think ALL of them should be legalized because the way i see it is that people are going to do what they want, if they want. Whether the law has something to say about it or not rarely stops them or even influences their dicision. i think that the government has a little too much say when it comes to the point where they can tell you what you can and can’t ingest into your own body. If you choose to do them, that’s your own thing and I wish the police would stop wasting jail space, money and time on people who are going to do drugs with or without permission from THEM! It’s a losing battle and always has been, when will they realize that? The only time the police or government should intervene (or interfere, depending on your point of view!) is when an actual CRIME has been commited as a result of it. I’m sure that’s when a lot of people would say “yeah but drugs CAUSE crime so much!” and though that’s sometimes true, crime would most likely go DOWN from drugs if they were legalized because people wouldn’t have to go to such extremes or desperate measures to get them. Not to mention they could be regulated if legal, so people would at least be safer in doing them- they’d know what they were actually getting at face value, and how much/how potent, etc. since they’re going to do what they want whether it is or not!

keep em all illegal. i’d rather give my money to drug dealers than uncle sam

Marijuana is already legal over here for medical reasons prescribed by doctors. Poeple want all drugs to be legal but that would make this country even crazier than it already is.
