Having a personal amount of any drug isn’t going to affect anyone but the user. And the user is 100% responsible for what he or she is going to do. (Also, don’t give me “what about the families!!!” because at the end of the day, look how many of your beloved family members watch you smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol, because it’s good, legal, and profitable for our government.)
If someone wants to take a drug, let them. It’s their own choice. Even heroin or crack.

Before you ask your stupid question, I’ll answer it, YES, I’m saying drugs should be LEGALIZED and REGULATED. What’s going to stop kids from doing drugs? Actually when morphine was legal in the early 1900s few if any people died. Morphine was in over the counter cough syrup and cocaine was in coca-cola! Now look at it when it’s illegal. Hundreds of thousands of innocent people suffer or die from drug trafficking every year. Yes there were cases of morphine addiction but the difference in human casualities and suffering is staggering.

When you are talking about the link between drugs and terrorism don’t forget the AUC – a paramilitary group in Colombia that carries out acts of terrorism. The group funds itself via drug trafficking and is backed by the U.S. and Colombian government. Basically, since the U.S. backs the AUC it can be reasoned that American citizens are responsible and funding terrorism through their tax dollars whenever an AUC bomb or shooting spree or other terror attack kills people in Colombian.
