….. Sadly, the majority will lose that is why gambling industry is still alive. Think about it as a lottery where few people win.
If u are not gambler-type, don’t force it upon yourself, thats what people do, by looking up to successful gamblers. Ultimately the cause of problem gambling.

  4. Baddieko Says:

If u are not the type to handle, manage risk and good decision making, then gambling is not for you. Gambling is same as stock speculation, successful ones have clutch decision making. The only way to get a fortune from it is to win big and lose less. When is the time to go big? Its intutitive coupled with experience. I have a few friends that become millionaire from gambling all exhibit this personality.

It’s a very thin line between “addiction” and “entertainment”

I make about 3000$ a month, spend about 300$ on scratch tickets and casino. If I never win, that’s it for this month, if I win then I would use the money for something good (not waste it all on gambling).

On April 09 I hit 1750$ in the casino, I used them to pay my property tax and gave some to our local Church. On July 09 I hit 730$ I put new tires on my car.

Know your limits, play within it.

  18. ArizonaDelRio Says:

I worked in the casinos for 13 years and eventually quit. Watching people destroy themselves was too much to bear after so long. That, and most casino management is composed of pure assholes. It’s a shitty business from top to bottom.

  20. janero2luv Says:

right on. i am a recovering gambler and it’s a long story

  21. sammygee17 Says:

poker isn’t a game of chance because a successful strategy will win over the long run, which you don’t find with any other game, whether it be blackjack, craps, the slots …
In saying that, the real winners from poker are the websites and casinos, because you are taking the risk, and they are not.
So if you have problem gambling, I don’t think you should justify your gambling by playing poker instead of other games.

Allah says in the Qur’an: “Do they NOT consider the Qur’an (with care)? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy. Qur’an 4:82

“Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?” Qur’an21:30

I invite you to the House of Islam in peace.
